Role and main functions
Reporting to the Assurance manager, the analyst is responsible for carrying out various assurance engagements. More specifically, its tasks will be as follows:
- Execute the assigned sections within assurance engagements, ensuring compliance and application of the internal methodology;
- Validate the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and internal control systems, if applicable;
- Conduct research and provide interpretation, if necessary;
- Complete the provincial and federal corporate income tax return, as well as the tax questionnaire, if necessary;
- Provide a review of assurance engagements, on a daily basis, to the assurance manager;
- Ensure compliance with the deadline;
- All other related tasks.
Requirements
- Undergraduate diploma with CPA title (or in the process of being completed) ;
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in auditing, taxation, bookkeeping, an asset ;
- Basic knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel, etc.) ;
- Basic knowledge of assurance standards ;
- Basic knowledge of accounting and financial reporting requirements under ASPE, IFRS and ASNPO ;
- Basic knowledge of the stages of carrying out an accounting audit ;
- Fluency in French and English (bilingualism), an asset.
